Greetings Members and Readers,
We have been Pondering all the woes of our country trying to find a silver lining somewhere.
There is a malaise hovering over our psyches that seems to drowned out what ever good news might be reported. And the media seems to know that. No matter what persuasion any network might be, there are constant program interruptions on what ever media we are using (like public service commercials) suggesting that therapy might be a good idea at this time, that our fatigue may be more than a physical tiredness.
Lots of home remedy “picker uppers” and internet vitamins are shown that will perk us up and put a bounce in our step. It is said we need to Sleep better or manage our days more intelligently.
Some suggest that we are MEDIA shell shocked and too Screen dependent. Others are now speaking of a malady of our youth, the Internet, that has caused some social issues in real relationships. Other writers are speaking of utilizing a more stoic approach to life. That is to say the we should take it as it comes but worry only about that which we can control so as to limit frustration and wayward emotionalism and then we can use helplessness as a method of rationalizing victimization.
The thing IS that we are purposely not listening to our inner self and it’s suspicions or conclusions because we know deep down that listening might be jarring. There is an electricity in the air that we know is not normal, a foreboding of sorts.
We are alive, still eating well, warm or cool as necessary and the sun is still rising in the east regularly but we know that our leaders in power do not have our best interests in their hearts as seen by the many irrational actions taken in recent years. Their best interests are pushed to the front of the line, what ever that may be and We are to anesthetize ourselves some way and fall into lock step even though we both know that the cliff is looming.
It may be that we, as mankind, have finally painted ourselves into a corner where no actions can be taken but the ones with dire consequences or a major change of habit. The lame fight regarding climate change, the strange addiction to social media, declaring a sudden rise in racism, where EVERYTHING is racist, even morning cereal is just a tiny piece of a pie that is so large, we really can not wrap our heads around the whole lie or why it exists. I won’t attempt to list them all.
We can safely say that the amounts of misinformation or disinformation or exaggerations or emotional dilemma are staggering especially when considering that most of this stuff in generated from opinion or agenda or now, a computer.
The singular missing item in our hearts, vocabulary, actions, expectations and commonality is the absence of TRUST. We don’t trust our leaders, our currency, our governmental direction, our international posture or our core principals if we have any left, individually or as a nation.
We have bought into the idea sold every hour of every day on the media that all things that were right a decade ago are now wrong thus the rudder of our ship has been removed. No wonder we have no notion of direction. There is no up or down or east or west.
We must reach back and cling to those stabilizing notions of religion, the constitution, and the picket fence. That fence not only protected us from those outside that picket fence but gave a hug of safety and belonging to those within that fence. It is true that sometimes a fence does feel confining but it serves several healthy purposes as well. Trades offs are good occasionally, especially when the gate to the fence is not locked.
Let us know that Trust in ourselves and for each other, in God and grow that moral fabric of unison to begin the rebuilding of that picket fence for ourselves and ultimately, our nation.
It seems that the form of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity that is currently being sold have become words of great division. There are other forms of such ideas that did exist and they have been torn down into a pile of rubble. Most all ideas, buildings, roads, and life plans need a blueprint and we have destroyed ours to date. We are without a rudder and have no compass. How is it that we have allowed a minute part of our population to dictate to us who we are just because they suddenly do not know who they are? How is it that thousands of young women suddenly believe that a man can have a baby? What are they learning in biology at school?
Words that have no meaning any longer are self respect, introspection, caring, clarity, duty, charity, kindness and love. They have been replaced with words like suspicion, hate, paranoia, distrust, sloth, and — ME.
We live in a distracted and hateful nation presently and are inviting into our borders many that will bring more hate with them for many reasons or agendas. We can not seem to understand or grasp that there really are millions that either want what we have or worse, want us all dead and both. Read the Hamas Charter! Passivity will not cut the mustard. Ask a Jew that remembers 1942 and their passivity shown to Hitler during that period.
“Walking softly while carrying a big stick” suddenly has a more clear meaning. Isis and the likes thereof, do not care the governmental creed of a country as recently seen in Russia, they just want to kill Jews and Infidels or folks that represent a threat to their endeavors. Sometimes, they just need a paying client. You know, the mercenary stuff.
We need a reset, and a fresh start leaving behind the paranoia, fear and distrust that we endure daily while moving forward in a manner with actions that do foster self respect, preventive actions of self preservation, and self reliance. We can not expect others to respect or trust us if we do not respect and trust ourselves. WE have forgotten our way and lost the tools of self reliance and preservation. We have become too dependent for our daily needs.
That can come only via a new beginning electing trust worthy leaders that only have one agenda, The well being of the American People, coupled with a new spiritual revival that can enlist heavenly powers to help all of us on such a journey.
There is something seriously wrong in a country when the FBI, the CIA and Homeland Security are all sounding the alarm regarding the border policy and the type of folks that are coming in unfettered without vetting. I do not refer to skin color for those that are bitten by the racist bug. I am referring to Hamas, gangs, drug carriers and others with an agenda/jihad that is sure to bite us in the wallet and compromise our safety. No one will be safe when these folks organize and begin to implement their evil to fruition. All of this while we are de-funding our police and our judicial system has lost it’s purpose.
We are to disbelieve our lying eyes, blame the Right and shut up.
Our leaders KNOW that what they are doing is irresponsible and detrimental to our homeland. As verbalized before, they are doing all that they can to speed up the demise of our country while waving banners of DEI, climate change, rainbow flags and Hamas slogans.
And they wonder why our trust is lost.
News Flash /// To demonstrate further the ineptitude of our leaders, after a meeting in Puerto Rico today, Kamala left the building and quickly joined a gathering outside the building, assuming that it was all about her. She was clapping with the chants, laughing, and cheering the crowd not realizing that the gathering was a Biden/Harris protest. One just can not make this stuff up. She was right, it was about her.
To add insult to stupidity, please know that Puerto Rico is a lovely place with great food, beautiful beaches and a16th century “Old Town” shopping area but it is a territory of the USA and they may not vote in presidential elections. If they chose to do so, it is an “On Island” thing, not counted in popular vote and they have zero electoral votes. Why was she there anyway?
She did cheer on the Biden/Harris protest for a bit and then went off to a grocery store looking for a healing salad dressing for he next word salad.
