Well, for a country that owes $ Trillions $ in National Debt and many more $$$ trillions $$$ in unfunded liabilities, our Old Fogy in Chief is sure buying the hell out any possible votes that are for sale.
Usurping the Supreme Court is in itself unconstitutional and the act of ignoring our fine Supreme Judicial system tells us just what Sleepy thinks of law and order. Get re-elected at any cost and damn integrity, fiduciary responsibility to the “whole” populace and the intent of the law with no guidance from any moral bedrock. He did take an oath to protect and defend the whole of the U.S.A.
Some of our laws and our constitution are meant to prevent Presidents, et al. from running this country as if it were a totalitarian state or a banana republic run by Goombas or El Supremos all according to their Whim of the Day.
Think of the millions of people that went to college, borrowed money to do so, and then worked their behinds off to pay that money back over some 15 years or so. Think of the talented people that could not get a loan or afford to pay it back that missed that boat and now, they are asked to pay with their tax dollars a debt incurred by a bunch of under-educated woke wusses that truly do live in a land of no reprisal.
Uncle Joey is all impressed with himself that he is striving to keep a campaign promise and fails to realize that his promise is unconstitutional and dumber than dirt. So get over that Joey, you are just tripling down on ignorance and self alienation.
The bright side of this debacle is that many of the Dem/left that did repay their college loans are feeling pretty disenfranchised about now and will demonstrate their chagrin with their vote coming up soon, not to mention many others of all persuasions that will feel the disrespect of such an “in your face” cavalier and calculated move to BUY votes.
Selling votes may backfire in more ways than one. Those entitled enough to ignore a covenant of debt repayment are probably not inclined to feel the inconveniences of voting. One could lose some screen time on Tik Tok that way.
Let us make sure that no matter how many votes that are purchased, that we, the rest of us dis-respected folks in this country cast a vote to let the Ice Cream Man know how we feel.
It is not enough to buy votes to change regional congressional districts with census manipulation, I.E., the advent of an invasion at the border, it is not bad enough to flood our country with potential thieves, anarchist or terrorist, it is not bad enough to fund all these visitors their housing, food, medicine with spending money but now, right before we go bankrupt, we give away that which should have been an honor and a pleasure to repay for those that did find a way to obtain a formal advanced education.
Think about the number of BS degrees (and I do mean BS) in Underwater Basket-Weaving that are being forgiven. It is money wasted twice.
Oh well, we can buy baskets all day long from China, Taiwan and Polynesia for a mere pittance so the basket supply will not be compromised. If we truly do go broke, we may need to learn how to make baskets too.
There is something terribly wrong in this country and We should not put up with it. We can not succeed in a country when there is no effort toward excellence or responsible actions from our citizens or our leaders. Somewhere, we have forgotten that we need to cooperate with the intent of the constitution rather than challenge it every moment of every day. As observed, it will be to our detriment if we do not.
